In 1978 I discovered a new idea and I used this idea to treat my schizophrenia without using any medications.

In 1971, when I was thirty one years of age, I had an episode of mental and physical activity which caused me to require hospitalization.

At the hospital a psychiatrist diagnosed my problem as an acute schizophrenic episode.

I was on antipsychotic medications until 1976, at which time I went off all the medications by my own choice.

At the time I was drinking twelve cups of coffee a day, to help counteract the sleep-inducing and depressing side effects of my medications, and I was becoming so fat I couldn't tie my own shoes.

The psychiatrist was shocked that I'd gone off all the medications by my own volition!

My hyperactivity returned but it didn't become dangerously severe, and I lost a lot of weight.

My mental health was up and down for several years, until I made a discovery.

I've gone over twenty years now without needing to take antipsychotic medications, and my physical health is much better also.

All this is wonderful to tell. And I hope that soon I will be helping other people learn to do the same thing to treat themselves without taking any medicine.
