In 1978 I discovered a new idea and I used this idea to do better despite my handicaps.
From my earliest childhood, I've never had depth perception.
There is no fusion of the images from each of my eyes. So driving a car in busy city traffic is difficult and dangerous for me.
From early childhood I have made no eye contact, or at best poor eye contact during speech.
Many people find this offensive without understanding that I am neurologically impaired.
Speech (talk) is hard for me to produce and listen with comprehension.
Reading printed matter and remembering what I've read is difficult for me.
My visual memory and my auditory memory are impaired.
I learn by actually performing tasks on the job, not by being instructed on how to work.
I get new ideas by actually doing physical work, not by just reading, meditating, or thinking.
Only since the age of fifty-five has the importance of these handicaps become clear to me, as I've become more aware of other people and myself as a partially recovered autistic person.
In 1978 I discovered a new idea and I used this idea to do better despite my handicaps.
All this is wonderful to tell. And I hope that soon I will be helping other people learn to do the same thing to treat themselves without taking any medicine.
Come back again soon and have a nice day!
